INDEMANDLY’S WEBSITE PRIVACY AND COOKIE POLICY

Indemandly respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. Our privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data and your privacy rights.  Our privacy policy aims to give you information on how Indemandly collects and processes your personal data through your use of this website, including any data you may provide through this website when you sign-up to use our services, edit your profile, use the Indemandly widget, integrate Google calendar and Outlook calendar to your profile, and integrate Stripe to your profile.

We use cookies on this website.  Information on our cookie policy is set out below.

Indemandly is the controller and responsible for your personal data (collectively referred to as “Indemandly”, “we”, “us” or “our” in this privacy policy).  Our contact details are below.

The data we collect

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.  An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

We may collect, use, store and transfer your personal data as follows:

Legal grounds for use of personal data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to.

We rely on consent as a ground for processing your personal data.  We only process your personal data for the specific purposes referred to below.   You have the right to withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.  This does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Where you sign-up to Indemandly or edit your profile, we rely on our legitimate interests as a ground for processing your personal data.  This is necessary for the purpose of providing our services to you.  We do not use your personal data for activities where our interests are overridden by your interests or fundamental rights and freedoms (unless we have your consent or are otherwise required or permitted to by law).

Where you sign-up to Indemandly or edit your profile, we need to process your personal data for the purpose of performance of our contractual obligations.

Purposes for which we will use your personal data

In relation to your personal data provided on registration for our services and/or when you edit your profile, we use such data in order to provide our services to you, to facilitate contact with end-users, to create your business profile, to manage your account, and to communicate directly with you in relation to the provision of our services and your account.

In relation to your personal data provided via the Indemandly widget on our website, we use such data for directly communicating with you in relation to organising a meeting and/or your use of our services.

Where you integrate Google calendar or Outlook calendar to your profile, this allows us to check whether you are free or busy so that end-users cannot book you when you are busy.

Where you integrate Stripe to your profile, this facilitates the creation of invoices and processing of payments with end-users.

Change of purpose

We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If you wish to get an explanation as to how the processing for the new purpose is compatible with the original purpose, please contact us.

If we need to use your personal data for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so.

Please note that we may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent, in compliance with the above rules, where this is required or permitted by law.

Your duty to provide us with accurate data and inform us of changes

It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current.  Please ensure that the data you provide us is accurate.  In addition, please keep us informed if your personal data changes.

Failure to provide personal data

If you do not provide us with your personal data, you may not be able to use the Indemandly application to connect with end-users and/or your business profile will not be complete.

Data retention period

The data will be stored for until the earliest of the following: (i) they are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected (i.e. your use of the platform is terminated), or (ii) you no longer consent to the processing of your personal data.

We may be required to keep certain records for a longer period of time if required by any relevant law, regulation or court order.
